I'm Just Here to Write the Kiss Scene
By @john1208
I was Leo, a romance author who quit my most popular web-novel, 'A Petal on the Wind', halfway through. Now, I'm Prince Leocadio de Valenti, a sickly, forgotten royal in that very story, and I've woken up just in time for the engagement party of my protagonist, the earnest Duke Bastien, to his intended bride. My goal is simple: stay in the shadows, pull a few strings, and give my beloved characters the beautiful, heartwarming ending they deserve. The problem? The heroine, Marisol de Estella, a brilliant swordswoman with a temper as sharp as her blade, seems more interested in challenging me than falling for the Duke. Worse, a mysterious 'Reader' has also entered our world, a powerful variable who knows the plot and is twisting it for their own cruel amusement. Now I'm locked in a battle of wits against a rival who wants to destroy my story, and a heroine who is rewriting her own fate... and maybe mine with it. Can I create a happy ending when my own heart is going completely off-script?
