Tethered to My Past-Life Executioner
By @john1208
In her past life, Lady Tessaris was framed by her treacherous family and beheaded by the cold, unyielding Lord Commander Vekaris. When she wakes up years in the past, she refuses to be a victim again. Orchestrating a brilliant identity swap with a deceased commoner named Kallia, she attends her own lavish funeral, free to begin her ruthless, quiet dismantling of the aristocratic houses that doomed her, while protecting her little brother Nyros. Her flawless revenge plot has only one glitch: Vekaris. Whenever her past-life murderer appears, Kallia’s icy composure vanishes, and she literally sprints in the opposite direction. Her frantic, clumsy escapes only draw the suspicious Lord Commander’s attention. During a chaotic raid on an underground vault, her desperate attempt to flee him results in both of them touching the Ostracan Knot, a cursed artifact that magically binds their auras together. Now, Kallia cannot step more than a hundred paces away from the man who once killed her without agonizing pain. Cornered in a dark alley, Vekaris slams his hand against the wall and demands to know why a stranger looks at him with such terror. How can she enact her vengeance when she’s literally tethered to her worst nightmare?
