In a vast world where destiny is written in the stars, True Story of Life lives up to his name as an innocent scribe who believes every word he records is absolute truth. His naive heart has never known malice, until he inherits a cursed journal that brings his writings to life - at a terrible price. When his village is erased from reality by his own accidental brushstrokes, True is forced into a brutal world of mercenaries and celestial cartographers. Guided only by his dangerous book, he must venture to the edge of the map to restore what he lost. But every page he fills demands a sacrifice of his own memories, threatening to wipe his mind completely. Surrounded by predators who exploit his trust, True must learn to navigate a world of lies while carrying the ultimate weapon: a pen that can rewrite existence, if his innocence doesn't kill him first.
