The Petal Trap
By @Sukh LDH
Ethan, a young man haunted by the shame of his father's perceived weakness, harbors a deep-seated fear of emasculation. When a sinister, magically-binding contract forces him into the glamorous yet restrictive life of 'Elara,' a celebrated courtesan in the opulent city of Veridian, his world shatters. Stripped of his identity and compelled to embrace an elegant femininity he despises, Ethan must navigate a labyrinth of political intrigue and social masquerade. His only hope for freedom lies in uncovering the truth behind the powerful syndicate that orchestrated his transformation, a group known only as the 'Velvet Hand.' As Elara, he gains access to secrets whispered in noble courts, but every step towards liberation pulls him deeper into a gilded cage, threatening to consume his very soul. Can Ethan reclaim himself before Elara becomes his undeniable reality?
