Lovers beneath the sunless sky
By @Joy Markson
In the perpetual twilight of Noctis, where power courses through noble bloodlines and demons, vampires, and witches vie for supremacy, Lyra Vale, a blacksmith's daughter with a latent witch's gift, clings precariously to a miracle: a scholarship to Blackthorn Academy. This prestigious institution, a crucible for the realm's future dark rulers, is a world she was never meant to inhabit. Lyra carries a hidden power, the 'Bleeding Coin,' which manifests as she harnesses her magic, siphoning life force from her surroundings. To survive, Lyra must master her volatile gift while navigating the cutthroat politics and predatory affections of her elite classmates. Failure means not just expulsion, but a descent into the forgotten masses, or worse, becoming a pawn in a looming war threatening to unravel Noctis's fragile dark order. Her coin may buy power, but the cost could be her very soul.
