Vampire the masquerade the living vampire
By @dominique coleman
Seventeen-year-old Yoko, a calculating martial artist with a flowing afro-ponytail and a fortune at his disposal, thought he knew Los Angeles. That illusion shatters when a brutal encounter leaves him a 'living vampire,' straddling the line between human and Kindred. Awakening in a shadowy warehouse, he’s initiated into the ancient, warring clans of Vampire: The Masquerade, his new existence tethered to the abilities of his sire’s lineage. Driven by a desire to bridge the chasm between species and perhaps escape his own terrifying solitude, Yoko transforms his inherited wealth into a neutral ground: a lavish club where humans and vampires can mingle, unknowingly dancing on the precipice of war. But the Masquerade is fragile, and his ambition could ignite a firestorm, making him a target for every power broker in the city.
