The Scarlet Shadow Chronicles
By @susa lu
Orphaned in the desolate districts of Zaun, Elara ekes out a meager existence, haunted by the memory of her parents' unjust demise. Her only companion is 'Whisper,' an arcane parasite that grants her control over shadows, allowing her to phase through solid objects and manipulate ambient darkness. When a tyrannical chem-baron targets her adoptive family, Elara is forced to confront the harsh realities of her world. The city's corrupt enforcers, the Piltover Wardens, turn a blind eye, leaving Elara no choice but to embrace the shadows completely. Can she master her unstable power and exact justice, or will the darkness consume her, turning her into the very monster she fights against? Her journey is one of vengeance and self-discovery amidst the shimmering towers of Piltover and the toxic underbelly of Zaun.
