Maria's lover
By @Aungelle Fields
Dante, a ruthlessly efficient private investigator haunted by a past betrayal, stands amidst the opulent shadows of a suspected syndicate leader's office. His gut screams that the key to unlocking his lover, Maria's, mysterious disappearance lies within a locked desk drawer. Every ticking second amplifies his torment, a cruel echo of the moment he failed to protect her. Just as his fingers brush the cold steel, heavy footsteps approach, and a looming shadow falls across the frosted glass door. This isn't just about solving a case; it's about reclaiming a piece of his shattered soul, navigating a labyrinth of deceit where every clue is a double-edged blade. The city's underbelly whispers of a conspiracy far grander than Maria's vanishing act, a truth that could either bring her back or bury them both.
