India versus Australia
By @Sangita Dhande
In a sun-scorched village, where five years of drought have turned the very ground to dust and hope is a forgotten word, 17-year-old Sai Dhande stands as India's last hope. Armed with an unparalleled cricketing genius, a bat an extension of his soul, Sai carries the burden of a nation's thirst. The legendary Kaaba Ground, nine kilometers long and six kilometers wide, becomes the stage for an epic 50-over battle against the formidable Australians. This isn't just cricket; it's a desperate plea to the heavens. If India loses, the ancient rituals to bring rain will fail, dooming their parched lands. Sai, cold and unyielding, must overcome not just the opposing team but his own crippling fear of failure, an echo of past losses that could cost his people everything.
