Do Not Wake the Carry
By @john1208
I just wanted enough credits to sleep in a comfortable bed for the next five years. So, when a desperate manager slapped a contract on my table, offering a fortune if I bound my chest and joined the all-male VR esports team, the Sunfire Stags, we struck a deal. As a certified lazy genius, I can dominate the virtual battlefield of Synapse Clash while half-asleep. My effortless carrying infuriated Tarek, our hyper-competitive striker, though he quickly morphed from my biggest rival to my fiercely protective ally. Meanwhile, our sweet, earnest captain, Zaidu, is having a quiet crisis. He's been spiraling over his growing feelings for me, finally making the heartwarming decision that he doesn't care if I'm a guy - he just loves 'Pan'. His tender devotion peaks during our team's hot spring retreat, right before he accidentally walks in on my solo bath and experiences explosive relief upon discovering my true gender. But I have zero time for romance. We're dominating the leaderboards, entirely unaware that the championship's grand prize is a trap: mandatory conscription into a real, deadly interstellar war. Can I wake up long enough to save my team from winning?
