Arsenal of the Dead
By @john1208
Bramen just wanted to bury his brother in peace. Instead, the sky fractured, the Crucible of Zenith initiated, and Earth was forcibly drafted into a lethal multiverse tutorial. Armed with biting sarcasm and a weary trigger finger, the burnt-out combat medic awakens a unique class that allows him to raise the slain as loyal undead - and equip them with modern ballistic firearms. His first companion? A terrifying shadow beast that hides safely within his own silhouette. As the tutorial ramps up from flooded urban skirmishes to apocalyptic oceanic raids, Bramen loots the corpses of seemingly unbeatable bosses, snowballing into a heavily armed one-man battalion. After he and the fiercely driven scout Tavira conquer a colossal ocean leviathan, they resurrect it to carry his undead army across the drowned continents. Yet, as they hunt the alien architect orchestrating Earth's suffering, they uncover a devastating truth: Arbiter Othrun is harvesting Earth only to save his own freezing, extinct homeworld. Narrated through the alternating perspectives of a cynical necromancer and a hopeful sniper, the lines between monster and savior blur. Can Bramen pull the trigger on a doomed species to save his own, or is there a way to break the system entirely?
