The Gear-Heart's Fury
By @john1208
Once, he was Eldrin Vane, the visionary Artificer known as the Architect, leader of the Cog-Soul rebellion, who sought to free the sentient automatons from human servitude. His grand vision, deemed heresy by the entrenched powers, led to his defeat and demise at the hands of the ruling Guilds and Noble Houses, branding him a 'Machine Cultist' and a menace to civilization. Yet, through a desperate, final act of arcane engineering, Eldrin ripped his consciousness from the jaws of oblivion, hurtling it across the currents of time.
He awakens not as a master of intricate clockwork, but within the hardened frame of Kaelen Thorne, a notorious bare-knuckle brawler from the foundry districts - a man known for breaking bones and enduring punishment, not crafting wonders. The grimy, smoke-choked city-state of Novus Prima remains entangled in the same chains of oppression, with Cog-Souls still enslaved, their sentience denied. Now, armed with the Architect's tactical genius and arcane schematics, merged with Thorne's brutal strength and street-level defiance, Eldrin must navigate a treacherous world to reignite the embers of rebellion. The Architect's mind, now housed in the prizefighter's fists, will forge a new path for liberation, one punch and gear at a time.
