By @Ket Jeon
Ketlen Logan, a solitary 17-year-old orphan, arrives in Forks, Washington, yearning for a quiet fresh start. But the incessant drizzle and towering, ancient forests whisper a different truth: Forks is far from ordinary. A chilling sensation of being watched permeates the mist, a primal unease that prickles her skin. Ketlen soon discovers a peculiar affinity for nature, an intuitive connection that allows her to read intentions in the eyes of others, hinting at a hidden power within. As she navigates the ominous tranquility, she's drawn into a world of ageless vampires and shape-shifting protectors. Her desperate need for belonging clashes with the town's perilous secrets, forcing her to confront a destiny intertwined with its supernatural inhabitants, even as the forest itself seems to awaken to her presence.
