I Saved the Blind Prince, Now He's Holding the Emperor Hostage
By @john1208
Transmigrated into the melodramatic romance novel 'The Brazen Falcon', Zariyah Roshan knows exactly how she dies: executed as a minor villainess. Not on her watch. Kicking off her new life by throwing a chair at a pack of shadow-beasts mid-brawl, she rescues the doomed male lead, Qadir, from the Sunless Qanat where he was blinded and left to die. Her foolproof survival plan? Cure his agonizing curse, hand him over to her wise, trusted mentor, and run away to the quiet terraced village of Firuza for an early retirement. Ten years later, Zariyah is enjoying her peaceful, rustic life - until the capital erupts in chaos. Qadir has returned. Not only has he reclaimed his sight and conquered the northern steppes, but he's currently holding Padishah Iskandar at sword-point, demanding Zariyah as his bride. To make matters worse, the original saintess heroine is now aggressively stalking Zariyah with love letters, and her trusted mentor might actually be the true architect of the empire's doom. Can Zariyah survive her own happily-ever-after before her possessive fiancé burns the continent down?
