Throttle and Treason
By @john1208
When a battered courier drone drops a locked cold-box on Navia Corton's porch containing a blood-stained baby blanket, the horrific memories of her past life violently awaken. She remembers bleeding out in an illegal clinic's delivery room, screaming for help while her husband, Ondrik, partied on a yacht with his mistress, Mirella. Reborn and burning with a hot-tempered rage, Navia refuses to be a victim again. To protect her innocent younger brother Nico, she seeks out Jaro Tane - her fiercely loyal childhood bodyguard who has ruthlessly climbed the underworld ladder to become a billionaire kingpin. Together, they launch a high-octane blitz to steal Ondrik's elite syndicate clients one by one, intercepting his armored convoys and destroying his reputation. As Navia sets the stage to expose Mirella as a serial grifter on a live television broadcast, her explosive vengeance seems perfect. But Navia's most trusted mentor and closest ally in the underworld is feeding her intel for a sinister reason. Will her newfound romance and tactical brilliance be enough to survive when she realizes the true architect of her death has been standing beside her all along?
