THE FACELESS PONTIFF

By @Cydric Hobayan

In the desolate Sanctum of Hollow Crowns, Empress Seraphim, the Faceless Pontiff, enforces absolute judgment. Cloaked in black, her face obscured by a thorn crown, she wields Divine Scales of Absolute Judgment and a sword, her golden halo commanding unquestioning obeisance. But beneath the veneer of divine authority lies a soul scarred by an unremembered past, her ruthlessness a shield against a profound, hollow emptiness. When whispers of a forgotten heresy resurface, threatening to shatter the divine order she upholds, Seraphim must confront not only the encroaching chaos but also the chilling possibility that her own power, her very existence, is built upon a lie. The fate of her gothic empire, where saints rule as queens and power flows from crowns, hangs precariously as she seeks to reclaim what was lost.
