Ilham: The Gaze of the Inner Child
By @محمد داهم
In the quaint world of Ilham, where familial bonds weave the fabric of society, lives Ilham, Muhammad's wife's unassuming sister. She harbors a bewildering secret: an empathic gaze that strips away the layers of adulthood, revealing the purest, most vulnerable "inner child" within everyone she encounters. This isn't just a sight; it's a cheat that can melt grievances, mend broken trusts, and even soothe the most hardened hearts, often by making people revert to innocent, childlike states of openness. But this profound gift comes with a heavy burden. Ilham must navigate a world brimming with hidden resentments and complex adult struggles, where her "innocent" insights can sometimes expose raw truths people aren't ready to face. Her journey is to understand the true power of her perception and to learn if innocence can truly heal, or if it merely highlights the deepest wounds, risking social chaos or personal heartbreak.
