A Cozy Apocalypse for the Cyber-Necromancer
By @john1208
The Multiverse Tutorial was supposed to weed out the weak, but it didn’t account for Dovjen. Sprinting through a ruined tech plaza with a pack of bio-mechanical hounds snapping at his heels, Dovjen awakens a unique twist on the necromancer class: he can resurrect both rotting flesh and shattered machinery. Fusing a discarded battery with a fallen security guard's skeleton, he raises Tibor - a lowly minion destined to become a towering, laser-wielding Death Knight. As the tutorial ravages the planet, Dovjen begins looting impossible bosses and reviving them as his loyal pets. He recruits an ancient lich who becomes obsessed with repairing Earth's smartphones, and adopts towering mecha-beasts that just want belly rubs. Dovjen treats his terrifying undead horde with heartwarming affection, but is mercilessly brutal to anyone who threatens his new family. As his unstoppable cyber-army marches toward the heart of the tutorial, Dovjen uncovers a shocking truth about the ruthless Overseer orchestrating Earth’s torment. Will he destroy the architect of the apocalypse, or realize her cruel death-games are the only thing keeping an even darker doom at bay?
