The shop
By @Richard Morin
Elara, a timid apprentice in her friend's antique shop, believes her life is destined for quiet obscurity. Her only solace is sketching the dust-laden trinkets, each a silent witness to forgotten eras. But when a peculiar, obsidian-bound ledger appears among a new shipment, whispering secrets only she can hear, Elara's world cracks open. This isn't just a ledger; it's a sentient grimoire, capable of conjuring ancient artifacts and forgotten magic - but at a steep, soul-devouring price. As shadows gather, drawn to the grimoire's awakening power, Elara must master its dark gifts before her quiet shop becomes ground zero for an interdimensional war, and the line between creator and slave blurs irrevocably.
