Tethered to the Blind Viper
By @john1208
I woke up in mid-air, plummeting into the lightless, subterranean abyss of Othir. Miraculously surviving the fall, I stumbled upon Dalakh - a blind assassin left for dead by the Silent Nadir guild. I knew this world's lore: his abandonment is the catalyst that turns him into an apocalyptic monster. As a passing traveler desperate to uncover the conspiracy behind my transmigration, I made a purely logical decision: I would aggressively smother this lethal weapon with care. I refused to leave his side, countering his death threats with thick blankets and unyielding hugs, calculating that physical affection was the most efficient way to pacify his trauma. My strategy worked perfectly. But as we navigate the treacherous salt-caverns, I realize that the spatial anomaly that brought me here and the guild's betrayal are the exact same plotline. The story isn't about saving a villain; it's about stopping a world-ending collision. Worse, the terrifying assassin who is supposed to be the apex predator of the deep has started intentionally tripping over rocks and coughing weakly, just so I have to hold him tighter. Can my cold logic survive a monster who weaponizes his own fragility?
