The Tectonic Inspector: Scaffolding the Heavens
By @john1208
Jin Baishen, secretly the mythical Fulcrum Sovereign whose fists once realigned the continents, faked his death to enjoy a quiet life as a lowly pavilion inspector for the Sun-Kiln Pagoda. He just wants to check load-bearing pillars and drink cheap tea. But when he is forced to take on Qiao Linxi - a mocked disciple with 'Shattered Glass Meridians' rejected by every elder - his professional obsession with structural integrity kicks in. Treating her fragile cultivation base like a condemned building, Baishen applies sheer architectural physics: reinforcing her meridians with spiritual rebar, teaching her to parry by calculating shear force, and distributing kinetic impacts directly into the earth. To the cultivation world, Linxi's rapid rise is terrifying - a frail girl who effortlessly tanks legendary ultimate attacks and counters with the force of a collapsing skyscraper. But as elite sects demand to know the origins of her supreme defensive Dao, the upcoming Heaven-Vault Symposium threatens to overload the continent's most sacred, structurally unsound floating arena. Will Baishen finally break his cover to catch a falling tectonic plate, or will he let the arrogant Heavens collapse for violating the building code?
