Cursed Jersey
By @Meabh Mulholland
Enzo Carlo, the Golden Boy of Argentine football, finds his world unraveling after a catastrophic plane crash strands the entire Scaloneta in a desolate, spectral wilderness post-WC 2026. Haunted by the roar of an empty stadium and the chilling whispers of a malevolent entity that preys on their deepest fears, Enzo must confront not only the unforgiving landscape but also the fracturing psyches of his teammates. His uncanny ability to predict the next 'injury' - a gruesome, supernatural affliction befalling his squad - becomes both his salvation and his curse. As the line between reality and nightmare blurs, Enzo fights to keep the team, his surrogate family, from tearing each other apart, all while grappling with the terrifying realization that this wilderness has a hunger for legends, and they are its feast. Can they escape the cursed jersey, or will their legacy be consumed?
