Symphony of a Scripted Heart
By @john1208
Sawamura Ryo just wants to be left alone to compose film scores and tend to his collection of rare ferns. His quiet life shatters when a pristine white box arrives, containing not just a single, perfect camellia, but irrefutable proof of a youthful mistake that could ruin his career. The sender's demand: enter a fake, public marriage with Mizushima Hina, the nation's effervescent pop idol. Their agencies spin it as a whirlwind romance, creating the industry's newest 'power couple' for mutual gain. Ryo is dragged into a world of blinding camera flashes, scripted dates, and obsessive fans who dissect his every move. He plays the part of the doting husband, all while Hina's relentlessly cheerful public persona clashes with the haunted look in her eyes when the cameras are off. During a staged vacation, the truth emerges: Hina isn't a diva, she's a prisoner. Her entire musical catalogue was stolen by her producer, and this marriage is her only leverage to get it back. Can Ryo, a man who lives for musical integrity, help his fake wife reclaim her voice without their entire charade, and their careers, imploding under the public's watchful eye?
