Spicing the Simmer
By @Asmita Gaikwad
Ishiqa is living her dream. Married to Tishya, a world-famous, wealthy chef who prefers the quiet life of a doting house-husband, their modern Indian home is filled with warmth and culinary perfection. Tishya is her calm anchor, a gentle soul who shields her from the world. But Ishiqa harbors a toxic flaw: an insatiable need for validation, born from a childhood where she was always second best. When Dev, the passionate, short-tempered college suitor she rejected years ago, re-enters her life as her company's new primary investor, her peaceful world destabilizes. Dev has never stopped loving her, and unlike the quietly supportive Tishya, Dev’s intense, demanding attention feeds her deepest, unhealed insecurity. As Dev aggressively tries to win her back, Ishiqa is caught in a suffocating emotional tug-of-war. She must choose between the secure, silent devotion of her husband or the chaotic, addictive validation of her past, before her greed destroys the perfect life she built.
