When the Blind Prince Storms the Throne
By @john1208
Taryath awakens at a rain-soaked funeral to a horrifying realization: she has transmigrated into the body of a low-ranking shadow-guard who was forcibly face-swapped with the hated villainess of the Vel-Kesh clan. The real villainess faked her death and took Taryath's identity to escape. Hunted by assassins, Taryath’s only refuge is a suicidal plunge into the Sunken Ziggurat of Murgal. There, she discovers Ravash - the empire's exiled bastard prince, blinded and left to rot in the labyrinth by Zeshi, a manipulative fake saintess.
Quietly ruthless, Taryath forges the broken boy into a lethal blood-weaver. Her plan? Survive the catacombs, marry him off to neighboring Princess Shalira, and vanish across the border. They fight back-to-back, sharing a bittersweet, unspoken bond that Taryath dismisses as temporary. But she severely underestimates the dark obsession blooming in the sightless prince. Years later, just as she prepares to execute her escape, Ravash shatters the imperial gates. Marching up to the throne, he presses his blade to the Hegemon's throat, demanding not a kingdom, but the woman who taught him how to kill. Can Taryath outrun the suffocating devotion of the monster she forged?
