Misdelivered to the Heiress
By @john1208
The story opens mid-brawl, with Baltasar Rivo violently defending a box of artisanal cream puffs from street thugs. As the city’s most feared underground hacker, he’s used to breaking firewalls, not breaking jaws. But after his billionaire grandfather caught him joyriding through the family’s mainframe, Baltasar was punished with a minimum-wage courier gig. Furious and bleeding, he storms into an opulent penthouse and shoves the battered pastries at the wrong door. Inside is Cosima Navarro, a notoriously spoiled heiress currently being humiliated by her aristocratic cousins. Too prickly to apologize for the intrusion, Baltasar instead uses his smartwatch to instantly brick the cousins' phones before walking out. This sparks a combative, hilarious obsession from the pampered socialite, who begins ordering daily deliveries just to bicker with the rude driver and feed his belligerent, backpack-dwelling pet iguana. But neither realizes a hidden countdown is ticking. Baltasar’s grandfather is secretly dying, leaving a silent 90-day time limit on his punishment. If Baltasar doesn't reclaim his empire in time, Cosima's ruthless relatives will launch a hostile takeover. Can a violently proud hacker learn to open his heart to a soft-hearted brat, or will his stubbornness cost them both everything?
