The winter

The UA dorms are a ghost town during winter break, a fact Katsuki Bakugo relishes until a ferocious blizzard traps him alongside the last person he expects: Izuku Midoriya. With power out and temperatures plummeting, their only recourse is to huddle together, forcing a tense truce. Bakugo's usual explosive temper battles against the claustrophobia and a burgeoning, unwelcome awareness of Deku. As the snow piles higher, isolating them from the world, old rivalries begin to thaw, revealing vulnerabilities beneath years of animosity. This forced proximity, under the dire conditions of the storm, ignites a slow, reluctant burn between two rivals who thought they knew everything about each other.
