Exposing the Martyred Villain
By @King Neah
Neah died a monster. To the billions living beneath the pristine dome-cities of humanity, his name is a curse - the rogue champion who turned his blades on his allies and plunged the world into ash. They throw festivals to celebrate his execution, hailing the Golden Alliance that struck him down. But it is all a lie. When the sky suddenly fractures, it does not reveal the dreaded Eldritch gods Neah died fighting; instead, a massive, unyielding Golden Heavenly Screen manifests across the atmosphere. To the world's absolute horror, the screen begins broadcasting the unfiltered truth: Neah’s memories. Across the globe, humanity is forced to witness the agonizing truth of his sacrifice. He did not betray them; he took the Eldritch rot into his own soul to seal the cosmic rift, playing the villain to keep humanity united. Now, as his true past is laid bare, the world's guilt begins to boil, and a golden ranking list prepares to judge them all.
