The Tempered God of Firouz
By @john1208
Barlas took a bullet for Zarmin, breathing his last on a hospital bed with his feelings forever unspoken. Instead of resting in peace, he awakens in the realm of Marvash just as the apocalyptic Miasma Gale descends. Annoyed by the invasive dust, Barlas lets out a monumental sneeze - and instantly obliterates the world-ending storm. Now, Princess Tala of Firouz believes he is a prophesied deity, trailing after him with starry-eyed worship. Worse, Barlas’s new body comes with a maxed-out charisma attribute. Whether he’s aggressively scolding the arrogant elves of the Ziryan Enclave for their frailty or forcefully wrapping his rival Dastan in a warm blanket, his fiery temper only makes everyone fall hopelessly in love with him. As Barlas tries to build a cozy, safe haven for his fragile new followers, he sets out to investigate the terrifying 'Sleeping Goddess' who threatens to shatter the continent. But why does her magical signature feel so nostalgically familiar? Could the world's ultimate doom actually be the very woman he died to protect?
