Doug Ballz, a perpetually overlooked clerk in the realm's most prestigious adventurer guild, dreams of glory but is crippled by an overwhelming fear of failure. His chance arrives not through skill, but a bizarre 'system notification' only he can see: \"Congratulations! You are the chosen 'Dungeon Master' for a world-spanning campaign!\". This peculiar power allows him to subtly influence events, nudging fate and even granting minor boons to actual adventurers he encounters. However, a creeping blight is transforming dungeons into sentient, malevolent entities, threatening to consume the very fabric of reality. Doug must overcome his crippling self-doubt and master his meta-ability, not just to survive, but to guide a world on the brink of absolute ruin, all while pretending to be an ordinary, clumsy adventurer. Can a mere clerk manipulate destiny without exposing his impossible secret?
