Desert to Metropolis
By @Kerby Caballero
Kindred Whiteworth, a modern engineering marvel, dies only to awaken as an exiled noble in a desolate desert city in a realistic medieval era. Stripped of everything, his only cheat is the vast knowledge of future technology embedded in his mind. With resourcefulness and a calculating demeanor, he begins transforming his barren dominion into a beacon of innovation and prosperity. However, the burgeoning metropolis draws the covetous eyes of neighboring kingdoms and a jealous imperial court, who see his rapid advancements as a threat to their archaic power structures. Kindred must not only build a city but also forge an unassailable defense, all while concealing the true source of his genius from a world that would surely condemn him as a sorcerer or madman. His grand ambition clashes with the harsh realities of medieval politics and warfare.
