There was once a girl.
Sold by her parents for nine copper coins, she was meant to be a sacrifice in a demonic summoning. By the demon’s whim, however, she was spared a bloody death and instead became its slave.
The fate of such a slave was harsh.
There was no rest for a soul captured by a demon.
A life spent as the demon’s plaything, followed by an eternity of torment after death—that was their destiny.
And so it was for the girl.
