22 October 2001, Monday, 5:05 a.m.
That was the moment Kiara was born.
She was born during a time when the divine blessings of Goddess Durga were believed to be present in every home. She was born during Navratri, on the sixth day of the festival. From the very beginning, Kiara was a beautiful little girl who was no less than anyone else.
Days passed, and our little Kiara, the beloved daughter of her parents, was getting ready to go to school.
She was only five years old.
Kiara went to school, played with her friends, enjoyed herself, and was an average student in her class—usually scoring above 70%.
Then came the night of 6 September 2006.That night, Kiara had a dream.
In her dream, she was dressed like a tiny little doll. It was her birthday, and she looked incredibly happy. Her father gave her a huge dollhouse as a birthday present.
After that, she began sleeping in that dollhouse every night.The dollhouse had become her entire world.
The next morning, Kiara opened her eyes and remembered the dream. She thought about how strangely real it had felt. Excitedly, she jumped around, imagining the dollhouse.But then she remembered that it had only been a dream.A small, innocent sadness appeared on her face.
As the days passed, Kiara slowly forgot about the dream and moved on.Her life continued normally, just as it always had.
Then came her birthday—22 October.Her father invited everyone to her birthday party. Her fifth birthday was celebrated with great joy and excitement.
Her classmates came, along with a few children from the neighborhood and some of her cousins and siblings who lived nearby.
Kiara was extremely happy.At one point, her father asked the waiter to bring the cake.
The waiter arrived carrying the birthday cake.
But the moment Kiara saw the cake, instead of becoming happy…
