Chapter 35 of 35
The Tri-Realm Nexus
664 words
Three days following the Harvest of Ashes, the war-torn Blood-Moon Realm had fallen completely silent.
Where blood-smoke and artillery fire once choked the skies above the Blood-Stone Citadel, massive construction arrays now hummed with steady, rhythmic power. Under the administrative direction of Clone Twenty-Six (Realm Auditor) and Clone Fourteen (Steward), fifteen thousand surviving human cultivators and vampire nobles worked side-by-side, clearing rubble and erecting dragon-vein iron walls etched with the silver insignia of the Shadow-Rest Association.
At the center of the citadel's courtyard, replacing the destroyed Ancestral Blood-Pool, stood a hundred-foot spatial monument forged from pure basalt and liquid mercury—the Tri-Realm Nexus Gate.
Inside the sanctuary chamber beneath the monument, Lylin sat cross-legged atop a raised obsidian dais. Floating before him were the three conquered realm anchors: a crystal of Azure Cloud Spirit-Jade, a shard of Shadow-Veil Volcanic Quartz, and a polished sphere of Blood-Moon Sanguine Essence.
Through his golden, liquid Golden Core sea, Lylin guided the spatial threads connecting all three anchors into a single, permanent neural lattice.

In his mindscape, the daily counter refreshed once more.

Lylin opened his eyes, two blinding rays of dark-golden light piercing the dim light of the vault.
"CREATE CLONES."
Four hundred units of energy drained into the core array. Four violent vortices of crimson, violet, silver, and pitch-black astral mist erupted before the dais, tearing open the spatial fabric as four new phantoms materialized:
Clone Twenty-Eight: A serene woman in white silk robes holding a golden scale—a Spirit-Vein Siphon / Energy Conduit possessing the talent Veil Extraction (siphons spirit-vein energy directly from uncaptured realms across spatial boundaries).
Clone Twenty-Nine: A shadowy figure whose limbs transformed into hundreds of writhing, ink-like tendrils—a Spiritual Infiltrator / Parasite Master possessing the talent Shadow Seed (plants invisible parasites inside high-tier sect masters to monitor their thoughts and spiritual movements).
Clone Thirty: A towering warrior clad in bone-forged armor, carrying a massive executioner’s scythe—a Death Vanguard / Sovereign Guard possessing the talent Soul Shield (absorbs ninety percent of incoming physical and spiritual damage directed at the Host).
Clone Thirty-One: A scholar wrapped in starlight-embroidered robes, holding a revolving bronze armillary sphere—a World Pathfinder / Realm Breaker possessing the talent Cosmic Mapping (bypasses natural realm barriers to locate the remaining eight human worlds).
SYSTEM NOTICE:
CLONES 28, 29, 30, AND 31 GENERATED.
TOTAL ACTIVE CLONE NETWORK: 31 NODES.
A dark, satisfied smile touched Lylin’s lips. Thirty-one specialized extensions now operated in perfect, machine-like synchronization across three conquered human worlds. He possessed the economic chokehold to bankrupt kingdoms, the military muscle to flatten sects, and the spatial infrastructure to move an army between worlds in a single heartbeat.
He turned his gaze toward Clone Thirty-One (World Pathfinder).
"Pathfinder," Lylin commanded, his raspy voice echoing through the minds of his entire network across three realms. "Scan the cosmic boundary beyond the Blood-Moon Realm. Locate the next target."
The Pathfinder adjusted the bronze armillary sphere. Its needles spun furiously before locking onto a blazing, golden stellar signature on the edge of the upper cosmos.
"Vector locked, Host," the Pathfinder reported, his voice crisp and hollow. "The Fourth World—the Great Yan Divine Empire—a centralized, high-tier human realm ruled by a Golden Core Emperor and defended by five million immortal imperial troops."
Lylin stood up from his obsidian throne, his black robes billowing with cold, unyielding ambition as he looked out across the Void Gate connecting his worlds.
"An empire," Lylin whispered softly, his golden eyes reflecting the vast, dark infinity of the cosmos. "Let us see how long their throne stands when the shadow claims their taxes."
