Chapter 2 of 5

Coffee And Kitchen Kisses

213 words

Paris eventually slipped out of bed to dress for a lazy day at home, pulling on a pair of soft pink short-shorts and a delicate lace bra top. Walking around barefoot with her dark curls pinned up in a loose, effortless bun, she padded quietly into the sunlit kitchen to get the morning started. The espresso machine hummed softly, filling the bright, airy space with the rich, inviting aroma of dark roast as she waited for the fresh brew to fill their mugs. Adam stepped into the kitchen right behind her, completely shirtless in his low-slung black lounge pants, the golden morning light catching the strong lines of his back and shoulders. He stepped right into her personal space, sliding his arms securely around her waist from behind and pulling her back flush against his chest. "You look entirely too good for a casual morning in," Adam murmured into the shell of her ear, trailing a path of slow, warm kisses along her jawline and down the curve of her shoulder. Paris leaned back into his warm skin with a soft laugh, her hands resting over his as he turned her around to face him, capturing her lips in a deep, sweet kiss that set the exact tone for their quiet day together.
