Chapter 1: A Secret Bloom

489 words

Warm sunlight streamed through the expensive apartment window, painting golden stripes across the polished floor. Chigiri Hyouma stretched, a languid arch of his back, his muscles coiling beneath silk pajamas. His long, rose-gold hair, now past his waist, caught the light, fanning out like a luxurious halo against the white sheets. Fingers brushed the soft strands, a familiar, comforting weight. He pushed himself up, padding towards the full-length mirror. Fuller cheeks softened the sharp lines of his jaw, a testament to years of dedicated training and good living. His body, always lean, now possessed a subtle curve, a ripeness that had blossomed discreetly. He traced the delicate line of his collarbone, then lower, over the faint swell of his chest, down to the narrow waist and the gentle flare of his hips. A deep breath, and he turned, catching the profile of his more alluring, almost feminine form. Deep within, a secret throbbed. A part of him he guarded fiercely, a truth known only to his own soul. It was a warmth, a hollow ache, an untouched core that pulsed with a life of its own, hidden beneath layers of muscle and fame. His team awaited. Another day, another training session at the pinnacle of professional football. He pulled on his gear, the familiar fabric a second skin. The scent of fresh grass and liniment already called to him, a promise of intensity and challenge. --- Inside the bustling locker room, the energy crackled. Voices boomed, boots clattered, and the distinct aroma of male sweat and ambition filled the air. Isagi Yoichi, their captain, stood at the whiteboard, his voice clear and authoritative, detailing a new tactical play. His eyes, sharp and intelligent, swept over the room, commanding attention. Chigiri watched from a corner, his heart giving a familiar, traitorous lurch. Isagi, the hero who had led them to international glory, the shining star whose name echoed in every stadium. A silent admiration, fierce and all-consuming, bloomed within Chigiri’s chest, a secret garden he tended with utmost care. Isagi’s gaze flickered towards him for a second, a quick nod of acknowledgment, before returning to the diagram. Chigiri’s cheeks warmed, a tiny blush blossoming beneath his fair skin. He quickly bent to tie his laces, hoping no one noticed the sudden heat. Out on the pitch, the morning sun beat down, turning sweat into glitter. Drills began, a furious blur of speed and precision. Chigiri sprinted, his long hair tied back, a crimson streak against the green field. His speed was still unmatched, a blur of pink and gold. He cut sharply, stealing the ball from a defender, weaving through two more. Isagi’s voice barked encouragement, his eyes locked onto Chigiri’s movements, analyzing, pushing. The intensity of that gaze, even in a professional context, sent shivers down Chigiri’s spine, making him push harder, faster. Later, during a water break, Bachira Meguru bounded over, a wide, infectious grin splitting his face.
