Anatomy of a Taboo
By @Ashley Beal
Doctor Kenji Sato dissects the world through cold, clinical observation; it is his only shield against a fractured past. But his highly structured existence shatters when he meets Iris Vance, a woman with lilac hair and a chaotic, self-destructive streak. While speeding down a rain-slicked highway toward an adult boutique, Kenji orders Iris to strip off her black lace panties and stuff them into her mouth - not out of cruelty, but as a calculated, desperate attempt to control the maddening desire she ignites in him. As they enter a dark, transactional arrangement of sensory deprivation and psychological submission, Kenji struggles to maintain his detached facade. Iris represents the unpredictable chaos he has spent his entire life avoiding, yet her vulnerability mirrors his own hidden wounds. In this high-stakes game of emotional chess, both must decide if they are dissecting each other for survival, or if they are finally ready to feel.
