In the ethereal realm of Ehd b d, where the enigmatic power of Dgvd pulses through ancient ley lines, Frieren, a mysterious and ancient mage, merely seeks to fulfill a dying promise. Accompanied by her stoic warrior Stark and the diligent apprentice Fern, Frieren wields the unfathomable ability of 'Svdh,' a cheat that allows her to manipulate the very fabric of existence, yet she remains emotionally distant, haunted by a past she refuses to confront. Their journey, seemingly a quest for forgotten spells, quickly entangles them in a cosmic conflict. An encroaching void threatens to consume Ehd b d, and Frieren's immense power is the only thing standing in its way. But to save the world, she must first confront the gaping void within herself, a wound that prevents her from truly connecting with the companions who now depend on her.
