Orphaned and outcast in the perpetually twilight city of Veridian, Elara possesses a terrifying gift: the 'Stone Heart.' With a touch, she can petrify any living creature, turning flesh to brittle stone. This power, born from a pact her family made with an ancient, forgotten entity, has made her a pariah, hunted by the zealous Inquisition who see her as an abomination. When a creeping blight begins to transform Veridian's citizens into grotesque gargoyles, Elara is forced to choose: hide from her pursuers, or embrace the very curse that defines her to fight a corruption that threatens to engulf the entire world. Her struggle isn't just for survival, but for acceptance in a world that fears her very existence.
