Verdant Apocalypse of Hearts
By @Arnelia
Decades after humanity's near-extinction, Vish, a charming yet guarded survivor, roams the verdant ruins of VERDANTIA. His muscular frame and cynical wit hide a heart scarred by loss, believing love died with the old world. Then he encounters Kris, a beautiful, fiery woman whose stubborn hope clashes with his bleak outlook. Forced to travel through overgrown cities, their constant arguments slowly forge an unexpected bond. As they unearth echoes of the past - photographs, recordings - they remember what they lost, and Vish faces a terrifying truth: Kris is the first person he's allowed himself to love since the apocalypse. This new, fragile connection threatens to shatter his carefully constructed emotional walls, making her potential loss his ultimate terror amidst a world that offers no guarantees. Can love truly blossom when the greatest threat isn't the wilderness, but the very act of caring?
